An Atlanta Police officer is under investigation today for assaulting a young woman at an IHOP on Easter Sunday. A scuffle broke out between the two when the the young lady tried to mediate an argument between the officer and another customer. The altercation, caught on tape, shows the officer smack and punch the young woman in the face. Many are questioning whether his actions where excessive or necessary.
